Rebbetzin Ruthie Halberstadt, daughter of Rabbi and Rebbetzin Akiva Tatz, grew up in Israel and South Africa. She studied at Gateshead Teachers Training College in England, and went on to teach at several seminaries in Jerusalem, Hasmonean Academy in London, and numerous venues internationally.
Known for her thought-provoking educational women's programmes, Rebbetzin Halberstadt brings intellectual depth and warmth to every shiur — making complex ideas in Jewish thought accessible and meaningful to women at every stage of their journey.
Presently, she lives with her family in London, England, where her husband, Rabbi Ilan Halberstadt, is the Rabbi of a dynamic young community.
